June 6th - 8th striper report

Boy what a weekend!! The weather, the wind, the tides, everything lined up to be a great weekend starting first thing Friday morning!

With predicted temps in the mid 70's you could say that i was just a little excited Friday morning to get out on the boat, so excited that I think I only got 3 hours of sleep.

The wind has been blowing from the north with relentless consistency, but the mornings have been flat calm - by Saturday mid afternoon we had a steady 20 MPH breeze but that didn't stop us from boating a few fish.

Tides were outgoing all 3 days in the morning which really produced some great fishing on the mud flats as well as a few fish hanging around structure like rocks and piers. Water temps is on the rise at 56 deg across the Diamond Islands and pumpkin knob.

Water Temp:56

Air Temp : Mid 70's

Wind: North

Fly of choice: Pink and white clouser and pale olive decievers.

Spin Gear: Small topwater and silver paddle tails.

Good luck to everyone this week! Let us know how you make out!

Tight Lines

Capt. Kevin Stone

Small schoolies are littered through out the marina, and they are hungry!
